After upgrading to 1.86 I recognized that the root user's password is empty
even though I provided password information in the XML file. It has worked
before.

The /etc/shadow is missing the password entry:

root::13830::::::
----------

I could not pinpoint this issue to change described in the changelog.
Any ideas?
