Summary: "Inappropriate ioctl for device" when loading
i386/qwerty/es.map.gz on boot.
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: robin.listas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---

I see this on /var/log/boot.msg:

input: AT Translated Set 2 keyboard as /class/input/input0
..
Activating crypto devices using /etc/cryptotab ...
ehci-hcd ohci-hcd uhci-hcd usb-ohci usb-uhci Loading keymap
i386/qwerty/es.map.gz
doneKeyboard: ioctl(KDKBDREP): Inappropriate ioctl for device
failedStart Unicode mode
doneLoading console font lat9w-16.psfu -m trivial G0:loadable
done

However, the text mode keyboard seems to work fine, and I can't find any entry
in the logs (aside from the above).

My system was upgraded from 10.2 recently, and is up to date (official updates
only). I have not seen that message before, as far as I remember.
