I use a FujitsuSiemens Amilo Si1520 with a 12.2" Auo monitor.
Sax provides only a resolution of 1024x768 and lower. But with Suse 10.1 it
worked already with 1280x800 60Hz.
(Similar to bug 299824 but I can't recognize a solution).
I can't modify xorg.conf manually
