[Bug 338930] sax2: does not recognize ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600/ 9700 Series correctly

Uninstalling the fglrx driver will leave the laptop very crippled. But we may
be on to something. Here is what is currently installed:
[root rankin-p35a/home/david] # rpm -qa | grep fglrx
ati-fglrxG01-kmp-default-8.42.3_2.6.22.9_0.4-1.1
x11-video-fglrxG01-8.42.3-2.1
it appears the x11-video rpm is not matched to the ati driver after
8.42.3-2.xx. Any way to fix this?
