https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=339108 Summary: USB devices not recognized Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell-partner@ingsoft.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Field Engineer In the 10.3 version there is no "plug and play" for usb devices. We cannot plug in a usb external memory device or hard drive and have it auto mounted and displayed. The only way to get the OS to recongize it is to plug in the device and reboot the entire machine. It will then see the device and mount it. This process must be repeated everytime you want to plug in another usb device. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
