https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=338983 Summary: zypper switches arch for updates Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: dmacvicar@novell.com ReportedBy: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QAContact: dmacvicar@novell.com Found By: --- zypper switches the architecture for installed packages when updating. I had seamonkey installed as 32bit version and zypper lu -t package showed that as well: v | Mozilla based projects (openSUSE_10.3) | seamonkey | 1.1.5-3.1 | i586 v | Mozilla based projects (openSUSE_10.3) | seamonkey-mail | 1.1.5-3.1 | i586 But after performing "zypper in seamonkey seamonkey-mail" I got the x86-64 versions installed. zypper also didn't notify me which version it's going to install. It just wrote that it's upgrading both packages (not to which version and architecture). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
