- From: bugzilla_noreply@xxxxxxxxxx
- Date: Thu, 1 Nov 2007 17:32:47 -0600 (MDT)
- Message-id: <bug-338547-21960@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=338547
Summary: Software search filter for SLES9 does not work
Product: openSUSE.org
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: SLES 9
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: P5 - None
Component: BuildService
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: gpoppino@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: adrian@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
When using the interface "http://software.opensuse.org/search" to search for
packages compiled for SLES9 using as filter "SLES9" the query always returns no
results, even though there might be packages for that platform available. If
the same query is performed with the "ALL" filter selected, it returns the
packages available for all platforms including SLES9.
How to reproduce it:
1. Go to http://software.opensuse.org/search
2. Select "SLES9" as filter
3. Enter "sqlite" as query
4. Click on 'Search'
Result:
No packages will be found.
Expected result:
sqlite for SLES9 (it is available in Build Service for this platform)
5. Repeat the procedure but in step 2 replace "SLES9" for "ALL"
Result:
Many results will be returned including sqlite for "SLES9".
