[Bug 331011] regression from 10.2: no brightness support on a Samsung P35

Not sure what changed there, but the brightness support for the P35 always was
a big hack... and IMO it's not important enough to waste much time on it.
If you find out how and if the machine is still supported on latest mainline
kernel, we can have a look whether an unrisky backport can be added to 10.3.
