Hello Tejun,
I am doing a new install on the same machine with passing the following
parameter to the installer boot menu:
Options="libata=ignore_hpa=0"
This indeed makes that also the 1st harddrive was detected by the installer. I
could correctly select the /boot partition on the 1st drive and the other
partitions on the 2nd drive. Everything went fine until the reboot from
harddisk, via the install CD. At rebooting it complains again that a partition
on 1st drive being unknown or corrupt. By pressing Ctrl/D I am back on the
bootscreen from the install CD from where the system normally would select
automatically "Boot from Hard Disk".
What should I do from here to provide you with needed info or is the situation
clear for you. If I need to do something please reply ASAP
Regards, Frans
