The haldaemon should start at boot. boot.msg shows:

The haldaemon is configured to start:

 chkconfig -l haldaemon
haldaemon                 0:off  1:off  2:on   3:on   4:off  5:on   6:off

but it is not there after startup. The only other trace from haldaemon ist that
powersaved complains:

appear. Aborting...

not created yet,program seems to be terminated shortly after starting

Starting haldaemon later works without any problem. Then i can see the devices
but i'm not allowed to mount them, but i'll file another bug for that if the
first problem is solved.

The system was upgraded from 10.2.
