It than starts to use the nfs mounted directory. The problem is easy reproducable: just get yourself an repository on disk and have this nfs exported. After that have a second system that is used to install opensuse-10.3 This can be even your current system that you don't want to erase as no real installation will take place! This time I checked the progress screens during installation, on screen <ctrl><F3>, the following is logged: loading file:/var/adm/mount/media.1/info.txt -> /info.txt error 37: could not open file /var/adm/mount/media.1/info.txt loading file:/var/adm/mount/media.1/license.tar.gz /license.tar.gz sha1 sha1 ok (I check this on <ctrl><F9>, the file /license.tar.gz exists indeed! Also: when I change directory /var/adm/mount I see the contents of the repository and the command 'mount" shows that the directory 192.168.4.1:/home/dist/suse103 is mounted on /var/adm/mount) Log file continues: loading file:/var/adm/mount/media.1/control.xml -> control.xml sha1 64e29c55................89a207 sha1 check failed (Inserting the hp102:/var/log # mount -o loop /dev/hdc /mnt hp102:/var/log # cd /mnt hp102:/mnt/media.1 # cat media.1/products / openSUSE-10.3-OSS-KDE 10.3 hp102:/mnt # ls -l control.xml -r--r--r-- 1 root root 28963 Sep 24 19:31 control.xml hp102:/mnt # sha1sum control.xml 64e29c55e1e5ea14d69bf81498cbbae94489a207 control.xml Which shows that this is the control.xml file that is located on the CD... hp102:/mnt # grep control.xml content HASH SHA1 64e29c55e1e5ea14d69bf81498cbbae94489a207 control.xml Hmmm, that's weird the control file sha1 matches what is expected....
