https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=337351 Summary: Lose Network Connections In Windows XP Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sgrofamily@verizon.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer Running a 2 OS system. Each OS is on its own hard drive. Modified menu.lst to be able to select booting into Windows XP. After booting into Suse 10.2, restarting and booting into Windows XP, Windows cannot connect to my network. To have Windows be able to reconnect to my network, I have to power down the system and remove power totally from the PC. The NIC is a Marvell Yukon resident on my ASUS A8V AMD64 motherboard. I have noticed that when the PC is powered down the NIC circuit is still active. Is there something in the Suse 10.2 shutdown procedure that is not releasing the NIC? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
