Ok. So this is the old S3 Trio64. Could you try adding
Option "noacccel"
to Section "Device" of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf? Still blanks screen?

Ok. So this is the old S3 Trio64. Could you try adding
Option "noacccel"
to Section "Device" of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf? Still blanks screen?
