Summary: GCC bug in released version
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Development
AssignedTo: pth@xxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: atour@xxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: Other
Currently OpenSuse 10.3 comes with gcc version 4.2.1. Unfortunately this
version comes with a couple of bugs, as for example the one reported here :
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32961
I am wondering if there is a plan to either downgrade (i.e. 4.1.2 which works
fine) or soon update gcc in this version of OpenSuse to a bug free version
(i.e. the unofficial versions 4.2.3 or 4.3.0).
Best regards,
Alexis
