The kernel parameter acpi=off doesn't make any difference. It appeared like I
told above (reboot=RAID normal, halt=RAID offline). Is there any way to test
the different behavior of power down a machine?

(Because I want to use OpenSUSE as native operating System I doesn't try to
install wxp after the first failing messages: No disks found with the native
wxp-cd and also with a floppy with the RAID-drivers, which I get together with
the Gigabyte-Mainboard)
