When accessing a NetWare share via a CIFS/SMB desktop shortcut:
Can successfully open a file such as a spreadsheet or document.
However, when I choose to save it back to the network drive I get the error
message that this is not supported under SMB...I have tried this on both
OpenSuse10.2 and SLED.
I really do not want to havbe to use the Novell Linux Client, but I have no
other choice at this point.
The PC I am using is up to date with all security/recommended patches for Open
Suse10.2.
The NetWare shares I regularly access are on NetWare 6.5,SP5, using NetWAre
Clustering services.
Assistance is greatly appreciated...
