[Bug 335437] xen Virtual Machine Manager fails to launch from Main Menu

I have a patch for libvirt to fix the issue noted in comment #2 - will attach
to the bug. Using virsh, one could see the problem with 'virsh -c xen://
list'. Using 'virsh -c xen:/// list' worked. With the patch, 'virsh -c xen://
list' now works.
However, virt-manager now has a different error :-). Seems to be a problem
getting a handle to org.freedesktop.Hal service. Interestingly this is only
observed on a small subset of machines I have tried.
