I wouldn't say.It didn't seem blocked.I'm not exactly sure, what you mean
"blocked".Frozen?
I had to wait for a while (aprox.30 sec) on output.

just to be sure, attached var/log/messages.but i don't think these "errors on
device sdb1" any affect.Or am i wrong?
Btw, my filesystem of ext. hdd is FAT32.

What happens if you stop HAL (rchal stop), insert the USB-disk or iPod.
