According to IBM,

1RHT71WW-3.04 is the current version, so my T41p is up to date.

The T42p did not shut down but we have not tested intensively. Sebastian, can
you please help us out here? I believe Thomas is looking for

- output of dmidecode to see the EC firmware version
- a more intensive test to see if this model also shuts down after some time

Would be great if you can do this on your T42p and post the results.
