https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=335887
Summary: It's not possible to add repositories when the package
selection is running
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: YaST2
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: cschum@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Depends on: 335883
Found By: ---
With the build service and community repositories, being able to manage
repositories in a convenient way is becoming more and more important for SUSE.
The current implementation of the software selection prevents that because it
requires to leave the software selection to modify or add new repositories.
That's highly annoying to users who don't use only the default repository.
A good solution would be to fold the "software repositories" module into the
software selection. There already is a tab for repositories there. If it would
be possible to add new repositories there and modify existing ones, the user
could finally manage his software in one place.
