Lukas, now it can look a bit messy because I don't remember exactly steps, but:
1) booting from KDE CD
2) selecting upgrade, not install
3) turning on on-line repos
4) checking upgrade mode
5) only upgrade, no new software
6) checking packages list
7) what is to be removed, ok
8) what is to be installed (as NEW software) --> huge list
