https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=335523 Summary: Suse 10.3 sax2 isn't comfortable Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: ralf.mardorf@alice-dsl.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Hi :) sax2 won't work comfortable. If all settings are nearly fine and for example I just want to enable DPMS, sax2 misplaces the screen so that it become necessary to adjust the position again. I added DPMS with kate to xorg.conf and made a backup named xorg.confr66save because there is still another problem with sax2. It was hard work to get nearly the frequencies my monitor was working with Suse 10.2 and impossible to catch the deflections at the same time to get the same frequencies the monitor was working with Suse 10.2. I tried parts of xorg.conf from Suse 10.2 and reworked xorg.conf with sax2, now my card is set to: Section "Device" BoardName "GeForce4 MX 440" BusID "1:0:0" Driver "nv" Identifier "Device[0]" Option "usevnc" "no" Screen 0 VendorName "NVidia" EndSection At the moment it's possible to use Suse 10.3 but I don't bent on to adjust the monitor settings again after I installed the 3D driver.
