https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=335513 Summary: YaST Package Manager - Stay in background Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: anderson@sonic2000.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- When you run the YaST Package Manager for updating or installing new packages, it will go trough every repository for changes and display that it processes it. Something that is annoying is that it will not keep backgrounded. It keeps popping up as active window. This can result in an unwanted result. For example if you are writing something and the window pops up you will cancel the update for that respository. Instead YaST Package Manager should stay in the background. If it wants attention it should blink in the tray-bar, informing you that it needs a active input. For example after its done and asks if you want to install any more packages. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
