Patch from comment #56 commited to SL103_BRANCH now.
This means it will pop up in next 10.3 update kernel and if you need it
earlier, get it from:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/SL103_BRANCH/
(may take a day or so until it pops up).
rpm -qp --changelog kernel-flavor.rpm |less
should show this somewhere:
Sat Oct 20 20:10:18 CEST 2007 - trenn@xxxxxxx
- patches.arch/acpi_gpe_suspend_cleanup-fix.patch:
ACPI: Call acpi_enable_wakeup_device at power_off
(https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=299882).
I am still a bit anxious with Ben's comment about the suspend issue.
Maybe you could rip out Alexey's first patch also (the one that caused this on
some Acers) and make sure it is not the cause for not working suspend.
Anyway, you may want to open another bug for that one (maybe also try whether
the latest vanilla kernel, we also provide rpms for those since some time,
works or not (see above ftp address and go for HEAD branch). If it's a mainline
kernel problem you may want to open a http://bugzilla.kernel.org bug).
Alexey: Thanks for already adding the SUSE specific patch Tags. It's
appreciated!
