The option was originally meant just to skip the 'continue?' (with the
installation) prompt. zypper 0.6.15 poorly supports running it as a cron job.
The full support for non-interactive mode was added in 0.6.19, but is not
officially published. The bug is also fixed in openSUSE 10.3.

You can use my (unofficial) build service repository
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jkupec/openSUSE_10.2 to get
zypper 0.6.21 for 10.2 if that suits your needs.
