https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=331749#c3 --- Comment #3 from Arjen de Korte <suse+build@de-korte.org> 2007-10-19 04:09:08 MST --- The above is indeed the case. From 'nut.spec' for nut-2.2.0-20: %configure\ --sysconfdir=%{CONFPATH}\ --datadir=%{_datadir}/nut\ --with-all\ --with-linux-hiddev=%{_includedir}/linux/hiddev.h\ --with-htmlpath=%{HTMLPATH}\ --with-cgipath=%{CGIPATH}\ --with-statepath=%{STATEPATH}\ --with-drvpath=%{MODELPATH}\ --with-user=%{USER}\ --with-group=uucp and %pre usr/sbin/useradd -r -o -g daemon -s /bin/false \ -c "UPS daemon" -d /sbin %USER 2>/dev/null || : Oops. We tell configure that the user running NUT will be a member of the 'uucp' group, but when the user is created, the group is set to 'daemon'. That doesn't fly. I suggest to change to '--with-group=daemon' (this value is only used in setting up the 'hotplug' and 'udev' rules). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
