When the STOP is issued, I hear a click sound. I assume that the disk spins
down right after that, because later I hear a very brief spin up (I'm not 100%
certain about this, as it lasts less than .5 s), then the disk spins down, 15
seconds later the system halts. The spin down right before the system halt is
not a normal spin down (if I cut the power to the system, the disks cannot be
heard spinning down; the spin down I'm talking about here sounds as if the
power is cut while the disk is spinning up, it sounds as if the disk has
failed).
