This feature request does maybe not belong in this bugzilla, but it might
be the only place where it gets attention. Perhaps someone might have a
look at this feature request during a hack week!

The request is to extend the terminal emulation program "screen" with
a "send command to all sessions" option, similar to kde's konsole (when
called with --script argument) feedSession or sendSession dcop calls!

Why this bugzilla? Because it seems that screen has not changed much since
some time and because this might be a usefull option for Novell engineers :)

A bit more information about "screen":

The same way tabbed browsing revolutionized the web experience, GNU Screen can
do the same for your experience in the command line. GNU Screen allows you to
manage several interactive shell instances within the same “window.” By
using different keyboard shortcuts, you are able to shuffle through the shell
instances, access any of them directly, create new ones, kill old ones, attach
and detach existing ones

The above text was quoted from:
http://www.redhatmagazine.com/2007/09/27/a-guide-to-gnu-screen/

The TODO file at:
ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/utilities/screen/screen-4.0.3.tar.gz
states: “- type into several windows at once (for cluster admins)”

The TODO file has been changed in august 2003 for the last time… :(

Is there hope for this option?
