I did "iwconfig eth1 essid Wayport_Access" as root - it provided no feedback.
(Both exited with code 0) I issued the command twice - once when setup to use
NetworkManager, and again when setup to use ifup. It did absolutely nothing
when I was using NetworkManager, and the interface was already connected when
using ifup.
I don't believe this is an ipw3945 issue since wireless is connected just fine
right now via the ifup method. (Configured via YaST) I am switching back and
forth right now and each time ifup works flawlessly and NetworkManager doesn't
connect.
Also, this network is visible and unencrypted, so there shouldn't be any
problem there.
