[Bug 328096] Kicker menu does not always clear recent used documents list

It appears to be rather random - calling the right click menu always works
insofar as it appears, as does selecting to clear the documents (it shows and
interacts fine-click on it and it highlights and the list disappears like you'd
expect) but it may not actually clear the list. This may happen several times
(in succession). However I could then go to, say konquerer and go to my home
folder (or use another application), then try clearing the list and it would
then work?
Leaving the panel and then coming back (or using an application) seemed to
'wake it up'
