Now the system is complete but not really usable.
I tried:
get the new kernel 2.6.23.1 from kernel.org
untared
make oldconfig
make

I did this remote (ssh)
now I came up to:
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/sir_dongle.o
  LD [M]  drivers/net/irda/sir-dev.o
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/esi-sir.o
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/tekram-sir.o
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/actisys-sir.o
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/litelink-sir.o
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/girbil-sir.o
  CC [M]  drivers/net/irda/old_belkin-sir.o

and the system is totally locked again. 
No keyboard action any more (sysreq etc.)
nothing on the screen, only blank (screensaver?), powersave mode from the
monitor.
