Punjabi Rendering is wrong in gnome application, while using Default Punjabi
Fonts (provied with opensuse 10.3 with indic-fonts package)

Attaching Screenshot:
1 - Gedit (with Default fonts)
Showing Preference windows, it is not combine with 'Halant' (0a4d)
2- Gedit (with "Saab" (Correct Unicode) font)
Case 1 should Render like this
3 - Gedt and Kate (Kate Render "Correctly")
Gedit render "Wrong" with Default Setting
while Kate has correct:

Package:
indic-fonts-2005.06.15-93

various output on opensuse 10.3 system:
--
fc-match
AnmolUniBaniHeavy.ttf: "AnmolUniBaniHeavy" "Regular"
--
Punjabi has following fonts:

(where Gurmukhi is script for Punjabi)
vi /usr/share/doc/packages/indic-fonts/CHANGELOG
gurmukhi/AnmolUniHeavy.ttf
gurmukhi/pnj2-b.ttf
gurmukhi/pnj2-n.ttf
gurmukhi/AnmolUniBaniHeavy.ttf
gurmukhi/AnmolUni-Bold.ttf
gurmukhi/Saab.otf
gurmukhi/AnmolUni.ttf
gurmukhi/AnmolUniBani-Bold.ttf
gurmukhi/AnmolUniBani.ttf
gurmukhi/lohit_pa.ttf
---
Package is quite OLD
"15 June 2005 Amish Munshi"
as for my Idea, "Lohit" has various bug fixed by Red Hat for Punjabi,
so need to update "Lohit"

--
Expected:
Default fonts: lohit or Saab for Punjabi (gurmukhi) instead of "Anmol"
please check following (host) site for "Data Lose"

http://guca.sourceforge.net/typography/fonts/anmoluni/
"You should be aware that any of the additions in AnmolUniBani are as of yet
not in the Unicode standard. These may one day be included in the standard in
the form used in AnmolUniBani or in other forms. You take a risk that your data
will not be fully compatible with future releases of Unicode when using the
AnmolUniBani fonts"

Where is latest Lohit:
