The installer is using
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:10.3/standard to add the oss
repository.

That directory doesn't exist.
The proper URL supposedly should be
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3/repo/oss but anyway, the URL
mentioned above must be resurrected, as many people run into this issue.
