I installed two nvidia driver packages:
    * nvidia-gfx-G01-kmp-default
    * x11-video-nvidiaG01
I then ran "modprobe nvidia" and hit Ctrl-Alt-Backspace to restart the X.org
server.
Doing so made the text on my system so large that it is now unusable.
