Hi,
I use RADEON R200 open driver so I can't use XGL, using AIGLX and running
Compiz (Fusion) the windows act strange.
I have attached some screenshots that show the correct way with 'kwin', also
are attached screenshots using Compiz (this is the incorrect way). The name of
the screenshot has kwin or compiz respectively.
In my words, I think that the problem with compiz is that it don't do the
re-drawing/actualizing of the windows when it has to do it.
For example, with the screenshot showing the 'kickoff' suse/kde menu, everybody
that use openSUSE with KDE knows that when you the mouse pointer over the
categories (Favorities, Applications, PC ...) the categorie get activated to
show its conten. But in my case (with compiz) the mouse is over 'Applications'
categorie but it don't show its conten.
Also, there is a screenshot showing 'konqueror' with the 'view' menu, but you
don't see the selected item in the menu.
Also, there is a screenshot showing 'konqueror' blanked, if I minimize it and
then restore it, konqueror is drawed good.
I have tried to work ignoring this problem but it is not possible, I'm using
kwin. With openSUSE102 this didn't occur (I has last compiz-git+xorg73+radeon
opendrivers).
This problem don't occur using XGL and radeon open drivers, just with AIGLX.
I also attach my xorg.conf.
