Ok, so you should get another message in /var/log/messages about the execution
of this handler. What it basically does is

$ echo video_switch > /proc/acpi/ibm/video

If that doesn't work manually, we cannot do much about it. Right, Stefan?

Ok, this variable was not updated as it should. So there is this warning in
message. But you can savely ignore it.
