I had tried these two files/servers to get the files for a network install:

ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/boot/i386/loader/initrd
ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/boot/i386/loader/linux

and

Didn't change the installation path or anything else between trying the
different files. The files from the iso worked, the other didn't, so I thought
it is a problem with those files... don't have those files on my computer
anymore though, so I can't give you more information about them. Just
downloaded them again and they now all have the same checksum, beats me...

I only checked the files mentioned above and the one from the iso-image.

I remember that I thought it would be nice to have md5-checksums of the
linux/initrd files on the "INSTALL internet" page in the wiki. I only found md5
sums for the iso-images though.
