Hi all, encounter the same crash on my "old" vaio
Model name is PCG-TR3AP (2815130) with bios at level R0111G1 (lastest).
It's a subnotebook (10'4 wide screen) with a 1Gz Pentium inside.
This model have work nicely with opensuse 10.1 & 10.2
It have booted with the opensuse 10.3 fresh install. But only with the acpi=off
kernel parameter.
But after the full update yesterday which conduct the kernel from
2.6.22.5-31-default to 2.6.22.9-31_04-default but the kernal crash would remain
the same.
Anyway as many vaio's users could read this thread we can publish a mini-howto
disable sony_laptop udev module without losing all acpi function.
