Summary: Network Manager doesn's see devices
Product: openSUSE 10.3
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Network
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: ajohansson@xxxxxxxxxx

opensuse 10.3 boxed version, 64 bit. Fresh install, not an update

Network Manager completely fails to see my network cards, both knetworkmanager
and nm-tool just say "no devices found"

Selecting "traditional method with ifup" works perfectly

I have installed on another machine as well, and there NetworkManager seems to
work. But that is a 32 bit machine. Could this be a 64 bit problem?

I don't see anything at all in the logs (only that Network Manager started), so
I don't know how to provide more info.
