Yes kdesu uses sudo by default (You can change it to use su). By default the
sudo password is the target password (root) so the prompt is correct.

The one click install handler uses xdg-su so will use gnomesu on gnome and
kdesu on kde etc. So it has no control over the su command itself.

If you would like the kdesu to display a different prompt when targetpw is not
set for sudo I suggest filing an enhancement against KDE.

Closing this bug as invalid.
