Hmm .. this I do not understand, see:

  werner/texlive> rpm -q --scripts -p noarch/texlive-omega.rpm 
  postinstall scriptlet (through /bin/sh):
  mkdir -p var/adm/SuSEconfig; touch var/adm/SuSEconfig/run-texhash
  postuninstall scriptlet (through /bin/sh):
  mkdir -p var/adm/SuSEconfig; touch var/adm/SuSEconfig/run-texhash

this is what I have.  Please run

  rpm -q --scripts texlive-omega

and paste the result herin
