Output: thinkpad:/ # mkinitrd -d /dev/mapper/root Kernel image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22.5-31-default Initrd image: /boot/initrd-2.6.22.5-31-default Root device: /dev/mapper/root (mounted on / as ext3) /lib/mkinitrd/setup/11-storage.sh: line 26: /dev/mapper/root: syntax error: operand expected (error token is "/dev/mapper/root") /lib/mkinitrd/setup/11-storage.sh: line 35: / 256: syntax error: operand expected (error token is "/ 256") Fatal storage error. Device could not be analyzed.
