I am having the motherboard ASUS M2N-MX SE with onboard Nvidia based chipset.
In previous 10.2 version the sound card was not detected by YAST.Today I
installed the 64 bit version of opensuse 10.3. In 10.3 YAST detected the card
as "MCP61 High Definition Audio". But I am not able to hear any voice from the
speakers. I checked my speaker connections and everything is connected
correctly. I tried alsaconf. On configuring the sound card and playing a test
file I noticed an error like this:

Playing WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/test.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian,
Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo
Saving the mixer setup used for this in /etc/asound.state.
/usr/sbin/alsactl: get_control:209: Cannot read control info '2,0,0,Front
Playback Volume,0': Invalid argument

I am not sure what the error is.If anymore details are required please tell me.
I will get the details as soon as possible. Thanks
