Only to clarify: if you configure KPowersave to suspend2ram on sleep button
events the machine get suspended and also the screen get locked? 

If this is not the case (suspend, but no lock): please enable DPMS again for
the actual scheme and retry if the screen get locked.

btw. the settings in  /usr/lib/powersave/scripts/thinkpad_acpi_events doesn't
matter for KPowersave, KPowersave get all information from HAL and nothing
anymore from powersaved.
