Partitioning scheme of MD Raid
Please note there is no device used to boot the system OTHER than the /boot
contained completely within the MD raid structure. Even the MBR is written on
the /boot 'partition' contained therein. This works flawlessly....until one
tries to update it. With 10.2, there was not a problem doing so, therefore it
must be possible with 10.3 once things stabilize.
