Sorry for the confusion. I don't remember why I requested the
EVENT_BUTTON_LID_CLOSED variable. This hasn't something to do with this issue.
Maybe I got confused by another bug...sorry for that.
Ok, I had a look at the kpowersave code. In 10.2, it should catch the button
event and should execute the same action as if suspend was called from the
menu.
Please run 'lshal -m', press the sleep button and post the output, if any.
