--- Comment #10 from Willem Meens <regnovell@xxxxxxx> 2007-09-27 01:00:24 MST ---
As comment to *NTFS* partitions getting granted write rights *by default*..
This has not the case in the Beta2 and RC1 setups I have installed.
NTFS partitions where not mountable by user accounts until i modified the entry
in fstab to '...ntfs-3G defaults 0 0'.
As example the enrty that was made during OpenSUSE 10.3 RC1 setup (using expert
partition management set to mount the NTFS partition at /data).
/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_Hitachi_HTS7210_MPCD12Y4GL6BZE-part3 /data
ntfs-3g users,gid=users,fmask=133,dmask=022,locale=en_US.UTF-8 0 0
Users could not access the volume using this entry.
Changeing the last bit to '.. defaults 0 0 ' made partition visible and
writable.
