ps -ef

after login on graphical display, keyboard no more usable (numlock has no
effect on LED / Alt-F1 does not work)
in /var/log/boot.msg : Failed services in runlevel 5: kbd
but mouse moves cursor over screen (X11 startup splash)
could login over ssh : ps -ef shows Xorg 99% cpu usage
