Ok, so I finaly got suse 10.3RC1 installed on my laptop (Dell inspiron 1501),
and with the kde cd, and when I booted the first time, there was no kmixer app,
so I started it, and it doesnt find any cards!! YaST identifys the card as
SBx00 Azalia and is using driver snd-hda-intel and I can test the sound, and it
works in there, however, kde seems to not be able to use it, and i cant restart
the sound system. I am using suse 10.3 rc1 with all updates applied. SuSE 10.2
worked ok with sound, as did the suse 10.3 Kde live cd.
