openSUSE 10.3 RC1, 64Bit Core Duo:

Tried once to log out of GNOME (!) session and there were no running processes
any more. But another logout there was beagle still running for example.

Or if you kill X server with <Ctrl><Alt><Backspace> there were also still
processes in memory.

That musn't happen. If a user session is ended - regularly by logging out or
killing X server - there shouldn't stay resistant user processes in memory!
